Belarus’ Defender Dmitri Korobov will move to Salavat Yualef Ufa for the next 2 years.

The 31-year-old Belarusian defender Dmitri Korobov is in his 10th KHL season. He came to Dinamo Minsk in 2008-09 via HK Gomel and played a total of 12 games. The following season he played with Shakhter Soligorsk and a year later with Dinamo Minsk. Than got Korobov’s reputation in the NHL of Tampa Bay Lighting’s organization. In the 2012-13 season, he played exclusively in the AHL at Syracuse Crunch. The next season Korobov played three games in the NHL, the rest of the season in the AHL.

For the 2014-15 season, Korobov is moving back to Atlant Mytishchi in the KHL. The next year he was under contract with the traditional Spartak Moscow club, after which he returned to Dinamo Minsk in his home country of Belarus. After two years in Minsk, Korobonv moved to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod and last season he was with Amur Khabarovsk. For the Belarusian national team, he played in the junior teams at a total of four world championships. For the senior team, Korobov was part of seven world championships in the squad.
