One of the largest youth hockey tournaments in the Baltic region, the Riga Hockey Cup 2020, has been canceled due to COVID-19.

The preparations for the “Riga Hockey Cup 2020”, one of the largest youth hockey tournaments in Europe, have already been completed. Everyone was in the starting blocks and the ice arenas were reserved and waiting for this great event. The people in charge and the teams were already looking forward to this very prominent tournament. But COVID-19 pandemic thwarted this plan. “Dear friends, participants, representatives of clubs, coaches, parents and fans.

We are forced to make a very difficult and painful decision, but the best and safest now: The current situation in Europe an all around the world has made us decide to postpone “TRUE RIGA HOCKEY CUP 2020” to April 2021.
