Eight teams fought for more points in the KHL – all home teams lost their matches.
In the game between the Belarusian and Latvian representatives, Dinamo Minsk against Dinamo Riga, the home team managed the early lead in the sixth game minute. But in the same period Riga was able to compensate thanks to Darzins‘ powerplay goal. Minsk had the advantages over the entire game on her side. But then it was the guests who scored the winning goal in the 38th minute, with a 1-2. In the last third Minsk found despite strong efforts no way past Alexander Salak.

A similar picture emerged in the game Omsk against Kunlun Red Star. Avangard was considered a favorite, but struggled with the shooting efficiency. Therefore, the first period was scoreless. In the second leg, Red Star took the lead through Fram’s goal in the 27th minute. Shortly thereafter, the lead to 0-2 was expanded surprisingly. In the 48th minute, Fram scored his second goal, sealing victory for Kunlun Red Star against Avangard Omsk.
