After a break of three years Vilius Krakauskas celebrates a comeback at the Raiders.
He is back – Vilius Krakauskas! The 23-year-old forward and brother of Emilijus Krakauskas, who plays in Switzerland at EHC Kloten, ended a three-year hockey break. During these years he trained each summer in the Raiders, who are based in Essex, Great Britain. Krakauskas is looking forward to the new challenge and is happy to play ice hockey again. “There is also a new ice rink and the ice hockey level is very good too, I can not wait to start a new season, I have been training hard and I am ready to play,” said a very ambitious Krakauskas.
Born in Kreitinga, Vilius Krakauskas played the first junior years of “Grifai Kretinga-2”. About “Ledzinga Gargzdai” he played in Latvia at “Metalurg Liepaja-2” and “Baltija Klaipeda”. His second foreign station was in Sweden at the U18 of “Nynäshamns IF”. Then we went back to Latvia to the U18 team of “Tukums”, then for two years for the “Liepaja Juniors”. In this juniors time Kraksuaks was also active for the Lithuanian U18 and U20 national team, and was also in a total of 4 World Cups in use. After the 2015-16 season, the forward took a break to now give the Raiders, his career outside of Lithuania, a new boost. Maybe the young Vilius Kraksuakas will have the opportunity to recommend himself to the Lithuanian national team with a good performance.
