Dinamo Riga secures the services of Vitalijs Pavlovs for another year.
With the 32-year-old and 1,92cm large center Dinamo Riga is committed to another important building block for the next KHL season. Pavlovs played in youth and juniors at SK LSPA / Riga. As Junior at DHK Latgale in the Belorussian League and in the II-Team in the Latvian League. After three seasons with Metalurgs Liepaja he went to Kazakhstan to Beibarys Atyrau.
After only one season was over and he came back to Latvia to Dinamo Riga but was awarded to Jokipojat in the Finnish Mestis. Then he played for Dinamo Riga for a year in the KHL and tried the Colorado Eagles in the ECHL the following season. With the Eagles he made the entry into the play-offs and brought in 71 games 34 points (17/17). After this US appearance, Pavlovs returns to Dinamo Riga and enters his seventh season in 2019-20. For the Latvian U18 and U20 national team he participated in three world championships.
For the A team, he played four World Championships in the Top Division, two Olympic Qualifications and also an Olympic participation. This experience brought the large-scale center one more year at Dinamo.
