The parallel play in Kosice denied Germany and France. The last victory of the French over Germany was 2016, the subsequent three games Germany has won. The Germans took advantage of this and Holzer scored the final score with his empty net goal to 4-1 (20.). With this victory Germany is still on the way to the quarterfinals.
