SKA St. Petersburg wins at Lokomotiv 4-0 and is the third team fix in the playoffs. Riga got after 2-3 after over-time important point at Ufa

Yaroslavl faced two recent victorious teams today. Lok celebrated three wins in a row. It succeeded last with the 1-0 victories over CSKA and Slovan two games without conceding to stay. SKA came to this game with six consecutive wins, three of which ended with a shutout. Most recently, Avtomobilist was defeated 6-0.

Lok tried to attack aggressively, but after 20 minutes it was 0-0. In the 23rd minute, Anton Belov ended the gate-lock of Ilya Konovalov after 155 minutes with his powerplay goal. After that, practically everything went fast, four minutes later Andrei Kuzmenko increased the score to 2-0 and Nail Yakupov ended the working day of Lok goalie Ilya Konovalov with the 3-0 in the 30th minute. But his replacement Daniil Isayev had to be beaten in the second third by the second goal from Yakupov to 4-0, from SKA point of view. With this victory St, Petersburg fixed after CSKA and Avtomobilist early on the playoff participation.

For Dinamo Riga it was still about the play-off participation which is further in Girffweite. From the last two games you could always take points. Ufa had the better start and went ahead with Omark 1-0 (9th). A few minutes later Tkachev increased to 2: 0 (12th). Dinamo remembered their playful strengths and equalized within 17 seconds – Darzins to 1: 2 (16) and Dzierkals scored the 2: 2 (17). After that it became an open game with many good opportunities for both sides. Ufa had two power-play opportunities, which, however, did not bring any further goals. It went into the over-time. Ufa have the better end to themselves, after just two minutes Burdasov meets for 3-2 and to decide. Riga also took another important step towards play-offs.

At the end of the KHL there was also a change today. Since Admiral Vladivostok celebrated after two defeats in a row against Amur a 3-1 victory, they gave the last league place to Slovan Bratislava. Alexander Streltsov brought the Admirals after just under three minutes for the first time in the lead – 1-0. After a 1-1 equalizer in the 31st minute of Gorshkov Alexander Konnov succeeded only six minutes later, the nasty leadership to 2-1. The admirals looked for the decision and Konstantin Glazachev fixed in the 52nd minute the 3-1 final score.

In the third game, Kunlun continued to hope for a play-off with a success at Barys Astana today. Maklyukov put Barys 1-0 up front, Patrick Lundh scored in the 11th minute to score 1-1. Brandon Yip scored his goals to make it 2-1 (14th) and 3-1 (60th), hitting the empty Barys goal and the match winner for Kunlun. This keeps the Red Star with two points behind in 8th place contact with the playoff places in the West.
